Snachat Update Brings Two New features Chat and Here Live Video Calls
This week the ephemeral photo sharing service Snapchat saw a major update for its iOS app, which brought a new text messaging feature called “Chat,” and live video chat feature called "Here."
The new Chat feature in the app allows you to swipe right on a friend’s name in your Snapchat inbox to start text messaging, as messages in the chat screen are cleared upon leaving the window. In the conversation, you can start the live vedio chat by tapping and holding on the blue photo button. You can also switch between the front facing and rear facing camera using swipe up/down gesture respectively.
Snapchat’s last update was issued in October 2013 which brought a new "Snapchat Stories" news feed feature, and in late 2013 the company reportedly turned down a $4 billion acquisition offer from Google and a $3 billion offer from Facebook. The app in the past few months was know a security breach last December compromised the user names and phone numbers of more than 4.6 million customers.

Samsung Galaxy phones get exclusive HERE Maps – NieuweMobiel NL
HERE Nokia’s navigation is exclusive to Samsung’s Galaxy line to. This Samsung offers a serious alternative to Google’s own Maps.
It is not the first time that Samsung does not follows the path of Google. So Samsung released several times a wearable inter Tizen instead of Android (Wear). The new S Gear is a good example. Samsung is an alternative and has apparently been found in Nokia. HERE Maps was not previously available for Android. Well for iOS but that version was eventually withdrawn by Nokia because he was not actively maintained.
HERE Maps is a navigation application that can also be used without an active Internet connection. You can download maps of 200 countries so that it can also be used in other countries without having to roam. Moreover, you get traffic. Besides navigating by car, you can also plan routes through the legs car and public transport. Moreover, the app also works in conjunction with the recently announced Gear S smart watch. Samsung software licenses Lord, the same company behind the navigation app covered by Nokia.
As part of this deal is the Lord app released for all devices running Samsung’s Tizen OS or within the Galaxy product line. Galaxy users have to download the app itself, the Gear S smart watch is already installed by default.
Offline use
Here app for Tizen and Galaxy devices is both online and offline. Thus, users can download certain cards and then not dependent on a continuous Internet connection for navigation.
the app also supports synchronization between smartphone / tablet and smart watch. So it is possible to plan via the smartphone app a route and then via bluetooth by sending your smart watch it.
Here app is currently available for free for Windows 8.1 devices. There is also a web version that is accessible to everyone. The software offers maps for anything less than two hundred countries and access to about half of these, including the Netherlands.

It is also not known whether Samsung to license Lord completely distances itself from Google Maps, competitive navigation app from Google. Missing The South Korean smartphone manufacturer is trying to Tizen too narrow. Its reliance on Google’s Android operating system
A spokesman for Lord let to TechCrunch already know that the app at a later time also comes to other devices, which probably means Android in general.
