Possible Cause of Death of Electrocuted 23 year old Woman Revealed
Recently, we gave you the news of a young Chinese woman, 23 years old, who was electrocuted do death while receiving a call on her iPhone.
latest news reaching us suggests that she was electrocuted because she used a fake iPhone charger. Also, the report also said that she wasnt shocked to death when using her iPhone 5 but rather an iPhone 4 which has a stainless steel design.
According to information from South China Morning Post:
“According to Xiang Ligang, a telecommunications expert interviewed by CCTV, the charger Ma had been using may have been a “knockoff” – a fake.It was further said that the woman had an iPhone 5 as well as an iPhone 4. The tragedy in question happened while she was using her iPhone 4 to receive a call while it was charging. It will be of note that iPhone 4 has a stainless steel design which can of course conduct electricity thereby inducing a fatal electric shock.
“Knockoff chargers sometimes cut corners,” Xiang said. “The quality of the capacitor and circuit protector may not be good, and this may lead to the capacitor breaking down and sending 220 volts of electricity directly into the cell phone battery.”
Also, Xiang Ligang said, normally, the electric current from an overloaded charger would overheat the phone’s casing, damaging the circuits inside and rendering the device unusable. In the case of Ma’s iPhone 4, however, authorities said the phone could still be started normally despite severe traces of burning on its exterior. The phone’s data cable, charger, and plug were all intact.”
However, these are all speculative deductions and not conclusive. Apple and Police officials are of course conducting their own investigations into this matter.
Whatever, users should be more careful these days to try at least disconnecting phone from mains before answering calls.

Stunning Nexus 6 specs and facts revealed in all their glory
Call it the Nexus 6, call it the Nexus X, call it the Shamu, call it whatever you want, the fact is that while we have many names for Googles new smartphone we dont have a huge number of details as yet.
But a new report from 9to5Google reiterates a few of them and fills in some gaps, as the site claims that the Nexus 6 will have a 5.92-inch 2560 x 1440 display with a pixel density of 498 pixels per inch and the processor will apparently be a Snapdragon 805 coupled with 3GB of RAM.
The Nexus 6 will reportedly have a 13MP camera capable of shooting 4K video, while therell be a 2MP snapper on the front, apparently identical to the one on the new Moto X.
A large 3200 mAh battery is said to keep it running and supposedly it will come with 32GB of storage, though other sizes are also possible.
It will unsurprisingly run Android L, but apparently the device which 9to5Google is familiar with is only 32-bit, despite Android L bringing support for 64-bit devices.
Most of these specs are close to what weve heard before, but with multiple sources now mentioning them it seems likely that theyre at least somewhat accurate.
The site also produced a mock-up of the device, revealing that it looks a lot like a larger Moto X, complete with an aluminium frame, with the only real difference being slightly repositioned volume and lock buttons.
Finally a small dimple is shown in the back, much like the one where the M would be on other Motorola handsets. Theres not much chance that well get an M on a Nexus phone, but according to Android Police thats actually the site of a fingerprint scanner.
Were expecting the next Nexus to arrive in October or November so we should know more soon.
