A future LG G Watch R with 4G could be unveiled at MWC 2015

The LG G Watch R is the smartwatch Koreans with circular dial which differs from LG G Watch (say) Normal precisely because the latter is square. It is, to put it in some way, a kind of ‘premium’ version focused on a much less technology market for a much greater range of customers, else ‘fashion’?

Also, remember that the LG G Watch R brought 3G standard but nevertheless kept make or receive voice calls, so the use of a SIM was limited to data for location services, music, weather, messaging, social networking etc.

LG

But it has been the means Business Korea which has uncovered that LG have already planned to present facing the MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2015 held in Barcelona a new model, but with 4G connectivity and because yes, would make and receive voice calls. Armed, imagine, either with an internal speaker or headphones bluetooth.

Recall that one of the major updates performed by the Mountain View on your Android Wear few weeks ago was precisely that, to facilitate the connection of wireless headphones to these smartwatch to get models like the LG G Watch R work so more independent, ignoring even smartphones.

This trend actually started by Samsung Gear S (with 3G connectivity), seems to be the trend of the future market for devices that were created as a clear complement to mobile, but with each new announcement to be produces has all the earmarks of that will end up being 100% independent.

The LG G Flex 2 could be presented in January

LG

It’s been over a year since LG surprised us with the LG G Flex, a smartphone with a pronounced curved shape is also flexible. The team was presented in October 2013 and rumors about the second edition have been around for a while, but now appears to be intensifying. Much has been speculated about the possible date of the LG G Flex 2. A first rumor pointed to a launch in early 2015, around February, directly pointing at the Mobile World Congress held in February in Barcelona. Days later, another leak pointed to a launch before the end of the year, in December. Finally, it appears that January could be the date chosen by LG, which would build on the framework of the CES in Las Vegas to present the second generation of its flexible mobile.

The latest rumor posted in Android Authority ensures that the LG G Flex 2 will be released early next January. The device thus arrives more than a year later than its predecessor. Typically, smartphones are updated annually, but in this case this is not a flagship or a very general model, so that the company would have relaxed over the renewal period. Currently there are too many solid clues about the device, which logically will continue to have a curved screen, its most prominent feature. However, the new model could change this section, not the curve, but in size and resolution.

LG

The LG G Flex has a huge screen 6 inches diagonally. One size defying comfort and handling equipment . The Korean company might be thinking slightly lower panel size of the LG G Flex 2, achieving reach a wider audience. No clue about the diagonal will, but probably 5 or 5.5 inches at most. What seems to be clearer in the always uncertain terrain of the rumor mill is that the LG G Flex 2 will finally have a FullHD screen. The panel will remain flexible like the first model OLED, but will raise the bar of the resolution, with a distribution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. After the display, one of the most outstanding features of the LG G Flex is its self-repairing housing. It is made from a material that is able to “erase” the scratches that appear on their surface when they spend a few hours. However, it only works if you are very mild scratches deeper not disappear. It is also speculated that a twist to this aspect is given, achieving a stronger and more ability to repair material. Other improvements we can expect from LG G Flex 2 would be a more powerful processor (possibly the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810) and a fuller camera (4K videos, optical stabilizer …).
